Position: Creative Administrator
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a marketing career specifically geared to all facets of the creative process. As a creative administrator you will report directly into the Chief Creative Officer and assist the other creative directors in the department (upwards of 3). Your daily job will consist of managing the schedule of the CCO, coordinating conference/Zoom calls, client meetings, travel, etc. Additional responsibilities include maintaining expenses and submitting time sheets, and working closely with the strategy, account, production and members of the Executive Team. Your primary responsibility will be helping optimize the CCO’s time. The pace of our company moves very quickly, schedules change, and the demand for the CCO’s attendance is constant. It also means juggling two time zones with our office in NY. Needless to say, this is a demanding job and requires one-part diligence, one-part flexibility and three parts personality who’s able to stay cool under pressure.
While the employment is full-time, it’s important to note that you will be expected to work some weekends (on campus and/or remotely). The job often requires some late nights pending the scale of our projects and workload.
In terms of experience, you will see first-hand how creative is developed and applied from start to finish…. in every medium. At the discretion of the CCO, you will also be given creative opportunities should this be something that interest you.
We want you to come as you are, without inhibition. So, bring your passion, be it writing, film, design, fine arts, theater…dance or whatever fuels your creative fire. A sense of humor is not a prerequisite, but it does help as does a selfless, optimistic attitude and an innate sense of willingness to pitch in. Our company is very close-knit and you’ll quickly find yourself immersed in our culture, making friends and becoming a vital contributor to the company’s success and growth.
Other than all that, it’s a piece of cake.
